Terms of Service for Sciasy

Welcome to Sciasy, a web app / website owned and operated by Oshoppo AS ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, sciasy.com, and the AI bot services provided therein (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Sciasy is powered by a range of AI APIs, including but not limited to OpenAI (GPT), Google Gemini, and DeepSeek. In addition to top of the line AI voice acting models. Sciasy is in no way affiliated with any of the AI LLM or voice acting providers.

Users may select which AI model powers their experience. We continually test and adjust settings to provide the best possible interaction. The cost of using certain models may vary depending on API provider pricing, which is reflected in our credit pricing.

The output from the game is mostly AI generated and based on user inputs. The combination of user input, game context, and AI models determine the output. As such, we cannot guarantee that the output will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for all users. We have guard systems, moderation systems, and custom prompts to try and keep the output within the bounds of the game lore and our terms of service, but ultimately, we cannot guarantee that it will be.

3. User Conduct

3.1 Prohibited Use

You agree not to use Sciasy to:

  • Request legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
  • Share private details about any person other than yourself without explicit written permission.
  • Request, prompt, input, or otherwise generate content that is protected by copyright, or otherwise illegal in your country.
  • Request, prompt, input, or otherwise generate content that is harmful, dangerous, pornographic, sexually explicit, sexually explicit or implicit or romantic or erotic related to minors, and non humanoid characters, racist, violent, brutal, contains nudity, or is otherwise strongly inappropriate.

3.2 User Responsibility

You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

You agree that you are responsible for any input that you provide to the service, and any output generated by the service based on your prompts and inputs.

You are encouraged to report any output generated by the service that you believe to be in violation of these terms of service.

4. Disclaimers

No Professional Advice: The AI bot is not a substitute for professional advice. Do not rely on the information provided for legal, medical, financial, or other professional decisions.

AI Limitations: The Service uses generative AI technology, which may produce inaccurate, misleading, or offensive content. The responses do not reflect the views of Oshoppo AS or any affiliated developers. Use discretion when acting on any information provided by the AI.

4.1 Use of Third-Party AI Providers

This Service integrates with third-party AI models via APIs, including those from OpenAI, Google (Gemini), and DeepSeek. These providers are not affiliated with or endorsing Sciasy. We do not control their infrastructure or guarantee their performance.

When using the service, your prompts and conversation history are processed by third-party AI providers in accordance with their respective privacy and security practices. By using Sciasy, you agree to allow us to route your content to these third-party providers in order to generate responses.

You can view or change your selected AI provider in your account settings where applicable.

Outputs created with these providers are treated as Service Content under Section 13.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality on the Service are the exclusive property of Oshoppo AS and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Including all Service Content defined in Section 13

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Oshoppo AS be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of the Service.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
  • Any content obtained from the Service.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Oshoppo AS and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of and access to the Service.
  • Your violation of any term of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any privacy or intellectual property rights.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Digital Credits

10.1 Nature of Credits

Credits are digital licenses that provide access to specific features within Sciasy. Credits are not legal tender, cannot be exchanged for money, and may not be transferred between users.

10.2 Purchase and Use

Credits can be purchased through the Service using available payment methods. Once purchased, credits are applied to your account and may be used to access or unlock AI interactions and features. All purchases are refundaby for up to 30 days if none of the purchased credits have been spent.

10.3 Refund Policy

You may request a refund for up to 30 days after purchase as long as none of the purchased credits have been spent. We reserve the right to refund unused credits at any time. All refunds are subject to a $0.30 + 5% processing fee which is deducted from the refund amount.

10.4 Changes to Credit System

We reserve the right to change pricing, credit functionality, or access features at any time. Any such changes will not affect already-purchased credits except where necessary to ensure platform integrity or legal compliance.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Content Ownership and Licence

13.1 Ownership of Service Content

All text, images, audio, video, game mechanics, AI-generated outputs, and any other content produced or displayed through the Service (“Service Content”) are and remain the exclusive property of Oshoppo AS and its licensors.

13.2 Limited User Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service Content solely for your own non-commercial gameplay within Sciasy. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit the Service Content outside the Service without our prior written consent.

13.3 User Inputs

By submitting any prompts, text, images, or other material (“Inputs”) to the Service you:

  • (a) represent that you have the necessary rights to provide those Inputs;
  • (b) grant Oshoppo AS and our third-party AI providers a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, and create derivative works from the Inputs solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

13.4 No Implied Rights

Except for the limited licence expressly granted in Section 13.2, no right, title, or interest in or to the Service Content or any intellectual property rights therein is transferred to you under these Terms.

14. Referral Program

We offer a referral program where you can earn bonus credits when you refer new players to Sciasy. When you refer someone, you will receive 100 bonus credits when they purchase their first credit package. There's no limit to how many people you can refer.

It is not allowed to refer yourself or another person more than once.
